The last few weeks of each year are extremely difficult and painful for a lot of people. The feelings of insecurity, inequity and the pervasive not been enough flair up and take over. People start feeling lonely, inadequate and questioning their life. All of it complicated with a pandemic that our generation had never seen before. This is one of the periods were people remember the worst of their past and insecurities for what their future might bring. It is like a thick veil suddenly wraps your eyes and we lose sight of who we are, where we are and where we are going. We lose sight of all of the of the good things that may be going in our lives. One of the strategies to overcome this is starting an intentional process to be grateful. Look around you, because as much as it may be missing, there is a lot that you have. Focus on those things and says them outloud. Repeat them multiple times in the day and you will experience a much different end of this year.
