We make big plans, but for some reason they all crash and burn. Here is what Charles Duhigg research shows. Habits are a three part loop:

 

First is the cue which triggers you to do the habit

Second is the routine or the behavior you then automatically engage in

And lastly is the reward for completing the routine

 

You can change your habits by just substituting one part of the loop, so instead of trying to tackle a large number of things, just find one and focus on it for a few days. Completing that task, will boost your confidence and will propel for the next steps.
